Flank Steak with Jalapeno Pesto
So my oldest brother and I were watching tv a couple weeks ago (Food Network of course) and there was a dish on that really struck our fancy. When it comes to food, I tend to lean more towards the salty, savory and spicy side; not that I am opposed to sweet, bitter or sour dishes. But this dish includes flank steak, delicious looking sub rolls and a jalapeno pesto! My mouth is watering already. Well tomorrow we will attempt our hand at this dish. I'm not too worried that the food will be amazing because one of my few talents is the ability to improvise a recipe and it not turn to crap... so even though we couldn't find the exact recipe... i am positive it will be delectible, I mean, grilled flank steak with jalapeno pesto, how could it not?! With my mouth positively watering from the thought of this gourmet sandwich, good night and "heureux mange" (Happy Eating).
